I've worked with enough startups to understand what they really need. In many cases the people with the best ideas aren't technology people. This isn't what they do for a living. So my job is to help them understand the important areas so they can be successful. I also shield them from technical areas that they really don't need to know. It might be important, but they don't always need to know all the details. In many cases, high level, 20,000 foot view is good enough.

I guess what I am saying is I'm not just going to blindly implement your software ideas. There are a thousand offshore companies that will do that for you.

Before I can really help you I need to learn more about your company, and the need driving your idea. Why do people want your software? What problem does it solve? What pain does it eliminate? I also need to understand the market or space you want to operate in. What are the demographics of your market. Are they young? Old? Business professionals? To help you I need to know what you know. And then I'll help you understand what I know. Together, the best ideas will come to the surface. That I can promise you.

Ideas are great, but you also need someone who can implement those ideas. You are going to have enough things on your plate just getting your business off the ground. My job is to handle the technology side of things. And by handling it, I mean helping you understand the implications of each issue so you can make the best decisions. And then I implement your decisions.
