You may be wondering if we provide service in your area. After all, we're in Colorado and you are probably somewhere else. Unless you are located in harm's way (I'm a software professional, not G.I. Joe), I'd be happy to come to you.
How We Service the Entire USA
You may be wondering how we can provide software consulting services to the entire country? For starters, we only take on a handful of projects at one time. This tends to limit our sales growth, but I like a job well done. You'll have our undivided attention for the duration of your project. This also makes it pretty easy to travel to wherever you are located. While we don't work on-site the entire duration of your project, we can and do make periodic visits to make sure things are going smoothly.
Here's how it usually works:
Project Kickoff
At the beginning of your project we'll probably fly out to gather the requirements, and see how your business actually works, up close and personal. This usually take 2-4 days, depending on the project. During this trip our goal is to gather everything we need to satisfy the define portion of our 4D Methodology.
Then we'll fly back home and document everything we've learned, and get started on the design stage. In some cases we'll make a special trip to review the design with you, but often times this can be done remotely, using a variety of tools. But it all depends on the project and your preference.
Beta Review
We usually fly out to review the beta version with your team and show the progress we've made. This usually takes 1-3 days, as we gather your feedback. Usually we've schedule multiple sessions with different groups, so we can focus each session of specific areas of interest.
Then we'll fly back home and work on whatever changes we've uncovered. We'll also continue the development process, planning for deployment.
Deployment
We like to be on-site for the deployment of the application. This can take anywhere from a 2 days to a week, depending on a variety of factors. It is also a good time to do the final review, and discuss the next steps. In some cases, we've already defined the next phase of the project, so we'll gather requirements while we are on-site.
